Overview:

A co-collaborative creative project, Bougainvillea: An Exploration of Adornment by Cornelius Tulloch is a site-specific installation that reimagines Caribbean cultural aesthetics through dancehall, Jamaican Junkanoo, and masquerade. Combining a photographic series with immersive design elements, it invites viewers to explore fashion and adornment as vibrant forms of cultural expression and storytelling.

My Role: Collaborated with dancer and model Iyanna on a performance art presentation for the closing of the installation. As artists of Jamaican descent, we blended a live medley of reggae and dancehall classics, with my violin performance complementing Iyanna’s expressive movement to create a cohesive and dynamic experience.
